Death by Force

On May 29, 2023, at approximately 9:47 p.m., a shooting occurred in the 400 block of Bellevue Avenue in Syracuse, New York. The incident resulted in the death of 44-year-old Demond Jones and injuries to three other individuals. Jones was transported to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. The other victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
