Death by Force

On August 20, 2023, at approximately 4:05 a.m., 22-year-old Joshtiers Mora was fatally shot at the intersection of Boynton and Watson Avenues in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. Responding to a 911 call, NYPD officers found Mora with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was promptly transported to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
