On the evening of April 1, 2020, a Washington Heights resident named Dave Fraser, a 53-year-old male, was fatally shot in the Bronx. The incident took place at approximately 9:40 PM inside an apartment building located at 1561 Sheridan Avenue. Police were dispatched to the location after a 911 call reported a person had been shot.

Upon their arrival at the Sheridan Avenue apartment building, officers learned that Fraser had already been taken to BronxCare Medical Center by private means. ...
