Salaya Figueroa, a 27-year-old mother from Brooklyn, NY, tragically lost her life on November 30, 2016, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred outside the Louis Pink Houses, a public housing project in East New York. Figueroa was struck by random gunfire while she and her boyfriend were outside the complex.
