Just after dawn on July 28, 2025, 21-year-old Adam Waldropt, male, was shot in a parking lot at the north side of Ferry Point Park, near Schley and Brush Avenues in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx. He suffered wounds to the back/abdomen and was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died. A second victim, 22-year-old Gabriel Alvarez of Stratford, Connecticut, was also struck multiple times and died at the hospital.
