On the evening of May 11, 2024, at approximately 10:53 p.m., 25-year-old Daniel Lachapel was fatally shot outside his residence at 690 Allerton Avenue in the Bronx, New York. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) responded to a 911 call reporting the incident and initiated a homicide investigation.
