On November 23, 2023, at approximately 11:45 p.m., 48-year-old Daniel Straker was fatally shot in front of 67 Macombs Place in Harlem, New York. Responding officers found Straker with a gunshot wound to his back; he was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.

Following an investigation, authorities arrested 47-year-old Victor Jones on November 30, 2023, charging him with murder, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm. Repor ...Read More
