On January 1, 2024, at approximately 12:42 a.m., 44-year-old Ozzie Gardner was fatally shot near the intersection of Judson and Second streets in Albany, New York. Emergency responders found Gardner with gunshot wounds to his chest; he was treated at the scene and then transported to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
