In the early hours of June 25, 2023, the life of 28-year-old Deandre Morrison was cut short in a burst of gunfire in Albany, New York. Responding to reports of a shooting at approximately 12:45 a.m., police found Morrison near the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Philip Street with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He was rushed to Albany Medical Center, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
