Denzel Grimes, a 29-year-old resident of Albany, NY, tragically passed away on April 12, 2020. The incident occurred at the Days Inn on Central Avenue in Colonie, where Grimes had been staying since March. According to the Colonie Police Department, the fatal shooting was deemed accidental and self-inflicted. Grimes accidentally discharged a 9 mm handgun, resulting in a gunshot wound to his groin area.
