In the spring of 2022, the life of 30-year-old Wendall Ponce was cut short in a fatal shooting in Albany, New York. On May 4th, Ponce was discovered deceased inside a residence on Stanwix Street, having sustained gunshot wounds. The incident marked the second homicide in the city that year.
