Tyrone Wroten, a 46-year-old resident of Albany, New York, was tragically shot and killed on August 18, 2021. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at the intersection of Second and Quail Streets. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 12:30 a.m. and found Wroten with a gunshot wound to his torso. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, Wroten was pronounced dead at the scene. His death marked the 13th homicide in Albany that year.
