Death by Force

On March 3, 2024, 33-year-old Kenneth Taveras was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Polo Grounds Towers, a NYCHA complex in Washington Heights, New York. The incident occurred around 10:35 p.m., when Taveras sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. Emergency responders transported him to Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, where he was pronounced dead.
