On May 6, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., Rochester police responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Rialto and Hollenbeck Streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds on the porch of a residence: 43-year-old Timothy Chealey of Rochester, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and 46-year-old Shatina Jones of Buffalo, who succumbed to her injuries shortly after being transported to the hospital.
