In the early hours of Sunday, September 8, 2024, a tragic shooting in the Laurelton neighborhood of Queens, New York, claimed the life of 24-year-old Nakender Bruno, a male disc jockey. The incident occurred at approximately 1:04 a.m. outside a residence on 220th Street near 133rd Avenue, where Bruno and his two cousins had just finished a DJing gig at a house party.
