On September 8, 2024, at approximately 1:04 a.m., a shooting occurred outside a residence near 132-45 220th Street in the Laurelton neighborhood of Queens, New York. The incident resulted in the death of 24-year-old DJ Nakender Bruno and injuries to two other men, aged 24 and 33. The victims were loading equipment into a van after a house party when an unidentified assailant approached and opened fire.
