Trooper Leo Whitt, a dedicated member of the Virginia State Police, tragically lost his life on April 12, 1985, at the age of 48. The incident occurred during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 95 in Prince George County, Virginia, approximately 10 miles south of Petersburg.
