Markey Gardner, a 37-year-old resident of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on April 18, 2012. Born on November 27, 1974, in Norfolk, VA, Gardner was known by the nickname "Smoke". He attended Bowling Park Elementary, Azalea Gardens Middle School, and Norview High School. Gardner was predeceased by his son, Larry Markey Hawkins, and left behind two children, Daunte Scott and Nisha Bazemore.
