George Rosa Sr., a 53-year-old school teacher from Queens, New York, tragically lost his life on July 25, 2020. Rosa was walking his dog in his Long Island City neighborhood when he was struck by a stray bullet. The incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. on 40th Avenue near 22nd Street, just two blocks from his home.
