On the evening of September 18, 2024, 29-year-old Christopher Romero-Warren was fatally shot while working at an auto body shop on Hollenbeck Street in Rochester, New York. Around 9:15 p.m., an assailant entered the garage and fired multiple shots at Romero-Warren, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believed he was the intended target, though the motive was initially unclear.
