Justin McLaren, a 21-year-old resident of Rochester, NY, tragically lost his life on January 8, 2015. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery at the corner of Bay and McKinster streets. According to reports, McLaren was approached by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun. During the struggle that ensued, a single shot was fired, fatally wounding McLaren in the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers.
