In the early evening of June 12, 2022, tragedy struck a Rochester, New York community. Seventeen-year-old Jeremiah Baker was riding his bicycle near a basketball hoop in the parking lot of the Harriet Tubman Estates apartment complex where he lived. It was around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of William Warfield Drive and Robert Warfield Court, and several children were playing basketball nearby when gunfire erupted.
