Matthew Williams, a 29-year-old resident of Rochester, NY, tragically lost his life on April 9, 2021, in a fatal shooting incident. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. at the corner of Monroe Avenue and Woodlawn Street. According to the Rochester Police Department, the altercation that led to the shooting began as a verbal argument and quickly escalated into gunfire.
