On January 20, 2023, 29-year-old Bryson Washington was fatally shot during a funeral service at Elite Funeral Chapel in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. at the funeral home located near Blue Ridge Boulevard and Longview Road. Washington was found outside the funeral home with gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
