On February 20, 2023, the body of 44-year-old Leigh Margaret "Loveleigh" Dalton was discovered at an abandoned car wash in the 8300 block of Hickman Mills Drive in Kansas City, Missouri. The owner of the car wash found her wrapped in a blanket inside one of the bays while installing surveillance cameras and promptly notified the authorities. Emergency responders arrived and pronounced Dalton deceased at the scene. The Jackson County Medical Examiner's Office later ruled her death a homicide.
