On a Tuesday morning in September 2014, the life of Teresa E. Kellough, a 49-year-old Caucasian woman, was tragically cut short in her Kansas City, Missouri, home. When Kellough, a dedicated pet groomer, failed to arrive for her shift at Pete and Mac's Pet Resort, a concerned co-worker went to her residence in the 4200 block of Forest Avenue to check on her.
