On March 17, 2023, at approximately 4 p.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 5400 block of The Paseo. Upon arrival, they found 28-year-old Sylvester Lee Roberts Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.
