In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of 23-year-old Donald Romeo Young was tragically cut short. On March 28, 2023, just after 12:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the Express Stop gas station at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Van Brunt Boulevard following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered a grim scene in the parking lot.
