On November 28, 2023, a tragic and senseless act of violence claimed the life of Calvin L. Boyles, a 45-year-old Black male and beloved community member in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident unfolded just after midnight when officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex located in the 1930 block of Park Tower Road following reports of gunfire.
