On an April evening in 2023, a dispute in a driveway in Raytown, a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri, escalated into a fatal encounter that ended the life of 24-year-old Nehemiah Newton. The events of April 20th unfolded after witnesses reported hearing an argument, followed by the sound of rapid gunfire. When police arrived at the residence in the 8600 block of Stark Avenue, they discovered Newton in the driveway, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
