On February 9, 2023, at approximately 11:45 p.m., 37-year-old Huleta Donshay Hughes-Barry was fatally shot at a residence in the 2600 block of West College Street in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office identified her through fingerprint comparison, marking the eighth homicide in Shreveport and Caddo Parish for that year.
