In the late afternoon of November 15, 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at the Linwood Homes apartment complex in Shreveport, Louisiana, tragically ending the life of 2-year-old Kynsley DeMiya Robinson, a Black female. The young girl was in a car at the gate of the complex with her 22-year-old father, Roderick Robinson, and another man when another vehicle approached and an occupant opened fire.
