On December 15, 2023, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police officers responded to a shooting near St. John Avenue and White Avenue. Upon arrival, they were directed to a nearby residence where they discovered 14-year-old Dadrien "Chico" Valdez suffering from gunshot wounds.
