On January 15, 2024, 45-year-old Shannon Babb-Mansfield was found unresponsive in her Howardville, Missouri, apartment, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Responding to a call around 5:43 p.m., New Madrid County Sheriff's deputies discovered her body and pronounced her dead at the scene.
