In the small community of Howardville, Missouri, a tragedy unfolded on the evening of January 15, 2024, that cut short the life of 45-year-old Shannon Babb-Mansfield. A White female, Shannon was discovered unresponsive in her apartment, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Law enforcement from the New Madrid County Sheriff's department arrived at the scene around 5:43 p.m. to find her deceased.
