Richard Anderson, 33, male, was killed in a burst of overnight gunfire that shattered the quiet of St. Louis’ O’Fallon neighborhood in the earliest minutes of February 14, 2024. Just after midnight, shots rang out near the intersection of Kossuth and Turner, and when officers arrived they found Anderson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The timing was cruelly precise: police said the shooting happened just before 12:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of Turner Avenue. Anderson was found ...
