In the spring of 2017, a weekend in Saint-Louis, Missouri, was marked by violence that claimed the life of 18-year-old Devin Brooks. On the afternoon of Sunday, April 2nd, tragedy struck in the 5600 block of Delmar. It was there that Brooks sustained fatal gunshot wounds to his back and neck. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they found the young man, who was pronounced dead right where he had fallen.
