On July 24, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., 17-year-old Dameon Kennedy-Henderson of Ferguson, Missouri, was found deceased in the doorway of a vacant residence in the 4600 block of Elmbank Avenue, located in St. Louis's Greater Ville neighborhood. Responding officers discovered that he had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
