On January 24, 2023, at approximately 6 p.m., 50-year-old Daryne Anthony Hall was fatally shot in the 3500 block of Minnesota Avenue in St. Louis' Gravois Park neighborhood. According to police reports, a 43-year-old man, identified as Chavis Q. Roberts, arrived at the residence and pointed a pistol at one of the occupants, declaring he was "sent to kill" them.
