Death by Force

Lamario Berry, a 36-year-old African American male, was found fatally shot in his apartment in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago on August 16, 2021. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Ingleside Avenue. Berry was discovered unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by the authorities.
