Raymond L. Zeigler, 49, a Black male, was shot to death just after midnight on May 4, 2024, on Chicago's West Side. He was standing in the street in the 3000 block of West Warren Boulevard in East Garfield Park when someone got out of a white sedan and opened fire. He was struck in the head and died at the scene.
Authorities identified him and confirmed the date and place of death; memorial listings recorded the loss the same day in Chicago.
