Lee A. McCullum, aged 22, was shot and killed on May 12, 2016, in Chicago. His death took place in the Roseland neighborhood on the city's South Side, where McCullum was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Tragically, Lee McCullum had been a symbol of hope for many after being featured in the 2014 CNN documentary series "Chicagoland," which highlighted his efforts to escape gang life and transform his future.
