In the summer of 2019, a tragedy unfolded in a south St. Louis neighborhood, leaving two people dead and a community searching for answers. On the afternoon of July 24th, police responded to a call that led them to a home in the 2600 block of Dalton Avenue. Inside, they discovered the bodies of 56-year-old Robert Tucker and 31-year-old Jill Jones. Both had been fatally shot in what was quickly determined to be a double homicide.
