Ryan Alexander, a 19-year-old Black male from St. Louis, was killed in the earliest hours of Saturday, August 24, 2024, when gunfire erupted inside a residence on the 5000 block of Ruskin Avenue in the city’s Mark Twain neighborhood. Police were dispatched after reports of a shooting and found Alexander inside the home, unresponsive. Emergency medical responders arrived moments later and pronounced him dead at the scene.
