On the morning of Sunday, March 10, 2024, a violent incident unfolded at a gas station convenience store in the 4800 block of Independence Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the lives of two men who were cousins and close friends. Nicholas Lewis, a 37-year-old male, and his cousin, 34-year-old Reginald McGee, were waiting in line inside the business when an argument reportedly broke out.
