Jai T. Scott, aged 45, tragically lost his life on November 12, 2014, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred near Kansas City City Hall, where Scott was shot following an altercation. According to reports, the confrontation began when Rickey C. Battee, a 25-year-old man, kicked Scott's vehicle as he drove by. This led Scott to exit his vehicle and confront Battee, resulting in a physical fight. During the altercation, Battee pulled out a gun and shot Scott multiple times.
