On the morning of Christmas Eve, December 24, 2021, residents near 41st Street and Monroe Avenue on the East Side of Kansas City, Missouri, were confronted with a grim discovery. Around 7:30 a.m., a caller contacted authorities to report seeing a person lying in a residential yard.
