In the early morning hours of September 24, 2018, in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of 37-year-old Antonio Shanklin, a Black male, was tragically cut short. At approximately 5:42 a.m., as he was leaving a residence at 3808 Wabash Avenue, an unknown assailant or assailants fatally shot him. The father of two died at the scene, leaving a void in the lives of his loved ones.
