On May 15, 2024, Kevin Moscoso-Lopez, a 20-year-old resident of Adelphi, Maryland, was fatally shot during an incident that occurred around 3:40 PM in the 1900 block of Erie Street. Upon police arrival, they discovered Moscoso-Lopez outside with a gunshot wound. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
