In a tragic turn of events that shattered a family, 38-year-old Domonique A. McGeachy, a Black female, was found dead in her Kansas City, Missouri, home on April 1, 2024. A loving mother and a U.S. Army veteran who served as a nurse, her life was cut short in an apparent murder-suicide. Concern arose when Domonique failed to arrive at her job at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This prompted a family member to request a welfare check at her residence in the 8300 block of NW 90th Street.
