On the morning of January 7, 2023, the trajectory of Trinity's life was violently cut short in Independence, Missouri. Around 11:00 a.m., law enforcement officers received a distress call directing them to the parking lot of the Stoney Creek Hotel, located near the intersection of Interstate 70 and Interstate 470 at 18011 East Bass Pro Drive. Upon their arrival at the scene, first responders discovered Trinity suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate emergency response and her subsequent transport to a local area hospital for urgent medical treatment, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly after her arrival.
