On December 26, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., Kansas City police responded to reports of a shooting near the 2500 block of Myrtle Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found indications of a crime scene but learned that the victim, 31-year-old Chelsea Williams, had been transported to a hospital by a family member.
